Terms of Service

The service. Nimrod provides hosted web-search, webpage-extraction, and research tools over the Model Context Protocol, metered in credits. We resell search capacity from upstream providers; results are provided as-is from the public web.

Accounts and keys. You are responsible for activity under your account and API key. Keys are shown once and stored only as hashes; rotate immediately if you believe a key is compromised. One account per person or organization; automated creation of multiple accounts to accumulate trial credits is prohibited.

Credits and billing. One credit is one search. Free-trial credits are a one-time grant valid for 30 days from signup. Monthly plan credits reset each calendar month and do not roll over. Purchased pack credits are valid for 6 months from purchase. Payments are processed by Polar (merchant of record); refunds are handled through Polar per their policy. Prices may change with notice; already purchased credits are honored.

Acceptable use. Don't use the service to violate law, infringe others' rights, probe or overload the service, or resell raw access without agreement. Every plan is rate-limited to 30 requests per minute; bulk scraping or automated harvesting at scale is not a permitted use. We may suspend accounts for abuse; unused paid credits on suspended-for-abuse accounts are forfeit after review.

Availability and changes. The service is provided without uptime guarantees while in early access. We may modify or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service entirely, remaining paid credits will be refunded pro-rata via Polar.

Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding three months. Web content retrieved by the tools belongs to its respective owners.
